Two brothers who were inspecting a tract of land they just purchased were shot and killed by their new neighbor who believed they were trespassing.

Neighbor believed the shed the men were entering was on his property but was actually owned by the now deceased men.
No warning was given.
Shots were fired from inside the house through the window.
No first aid was given to the men that were shot.
No call to 911 was placed by the shooter.
Shooter owned "a large number of weapons and ammunition."

UPDATED : Pictures of the victims.

Crazy is Crazy. He just bought himself a one-way ticket to the big-house for the rest of his life. Even if the shed was on his property he had no right to just open fire.

I hesitate to draw broader conclusions from some whack job's actions. And how the hell do you not know a shed is or is not on your property?

Its location is mostly irrelevant. You can't shoot people for entering your shed. Even if it were on his property the castle doctrine wouldn't save him here. He plainly murdered two people.

Crazy person had a gun, Dems continue their crusade to disarm everyone.

Reps continue their crusade to arm everyone, even the crazies.

See how that works from the other side.

How about this, maybe find a middle ground perhaps between the arm everyone gun nuts to the disarm everyone gun haters? Yea I know crazy talk right. 🙄

Confused and crazy are not the same thing. He was not crazy. He was standing what he believed was his ground. Florida allows a person to stand his ground. Republicans need to accept that there are going to be innocent people killed as a result of allowing people to shoot others under a stand your ground statute.

Sadly, however, there is little to no safety training required to ensure people have even the basic understanding of the legal and appropriate use of fire arms in defence of self and property in many states. Yet the push is on to arm as many as possible.

You are being obtuse and very ignorant as you very well know this does not meet the requirments of a stand your ground scenario.

I'd say senseamp wins for stupid posts in this thread, but the OP set the bar pretty high.

Maybe try reading the link first, then deduce your own (informed) conclusions.

I love it when one liberal's hackie mchackerson style of humor causes another liberal to look like a assweasel.

You should go to the range sometime and try facing your fears. Just don't drink a lot of liquids beforehand.

Nothing here says he was crazy. Just as likely to be another self-entitled conservative.

Shooting from your house into a shed outside your house without at least IDing the targets is fucking crazy by definition. Crazy also in thinking the shed was on his property in the first place. One would know if they bought or built that shed. While this took place in Hatfield and McCoy area, this isn't those times anymore. You know your property boundaries and you don't shoot Biden style recommendations from inside your house to something outside it.

Then again, maybe the shooter can use Biden's national broadcast recommendation for property defense as a defense for his actions? j/k
