glen, isn't Shaft from the seventies? I was going to vote for Shaft but he wasn't among the choices. So, put my vote on Shaft (if he's from the Seventies). 🙂

Actually wasn't Roots made in the 70's? If it was then Kunta Kinte'(SP) would definately be the most influential Black Character
 
Roots was big when it came out.
Really big; I remeber it coming on ABC.
But, this isn't a serious thread either.
Someone remarked that many thread had "Asian" in them, Cars, Food, women, school, etc...
So, this is just sillyness.
 
Bill Cosby, I had to check, I remembered watching him in the I SPY shows but they were in the 60's. He idd enough in the 70's to still qualify.
