This question covers both PC and console games so the post couldn't be made in those sections.
What's your MOST expensive videogames in your history of gaming? That includes the price of the hardware if you purchased it specifically for that game.
Mine are:
Gran Turismo 7 (bought PS5 just for it)
Alan Wake (bought Xbox 360 for it)
Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes (bought a Wii for it back when it cost $500)
Metal Gear Solid 4 (bought a PS3 for it, years in advance and waited two years for it to be released)
Forza Horizon 3 (while didn't get Xbox One X specifically for it, I did spend an extra $40 for the DLC for this game. I almost NEVER buy DLC, certainly not at full price so that gives you an idea of how much I was addicted to this game).
Last Of Us (It came bundled with my PS4 and while it wasn't really a reason to buy the PS4, it made the decision easier and after playing it, I felt like I got my money's worth for the console purchase. Detroit Become Human and Uncharted 4 further enhanced my enjoyment of my PS4)
Funny thing is, I can't recall a single PC game for which I specifically got a brand new DIY PC. That means I'm a sucker for console exclusives and on PC, I either tone down the settings or wait for my next upgrade cycle to experience the game in all its smooth glory.
