I get 32mpg highway but I drive to BFE to work everyday. Its about a 30 mile drive (not all highway either) or so, ends up costing me about 5 bucks per round trip to work. Add to that trips to school or store and 100 bucks is easy to go over.

Aside from my sister's tuition, I don't spend much.

cell phone = 30-40(family plan shared)
cable modem = $8 (shared)
insurance = $500 (6 months)
gas = 80
toys = not tracked.

I drive a freakin V8 that uses only premium gas. I drive 16 miles one way and that one way trips uses a gallon. And that's if I'm light on the accelerator.
