I just jumped on this. After $10 instant savings, $55 MIR, and $10 coupon code, it comes to $117 before shipping. This'll be a nice upgrade from the 1GB of Corsair ValueSelect I'm running now.

Guys, i bought this RAM and I can say that in my ABIT NF7-S 2.0 board (nforce2 board), it runs stable at stock 2-3-2-5-1T, dual channel for almost two days.

The bad thing is that I can't get it to overclock event to 202mhz fsb at the SPD timings in dual channel mode. Tried bumping voltage, didn't help.

I don't know if this has to do with dual channel or what.

Relax your CAS latency to 2.5 and you should be able to get around 240-250mhz. The overall performance is improved from the 2.0CAS @200mhz.

takez 10 weeks to receive the rebate, that is like over two months. I wouldn't even consider the rebate upon purchasing this. just think of the 55 bucks as a little extra play money after you forget the rebate even existed. because in two months, 55 bucks isn't really worth 10 weeks worth of hard work - let alone, hard waiting... hahaha

it's a marketting scheme, so think about time and money.

Ok after much testing, this is what I found...one of the 2 1gb sticks is hitting a wall very quickly. It won't even run at 202mhz fsb with the default 2-3-2-5-1T. I'm gonna do some burning in with Memtest86 and see if that helps.

THe other sticks so far seems to overclock to 205mhz w/o any problems or change in the timings. Haven't tested any further due to the wall I hit with the stick above.

$55 is $55. Rebates take time, if you think you are losing money because you have to wait for a rebate, then don't play the rebate game.

I have these sticks running 2.5-3-3-7 at 217 FSB with a S754 3700+, memtested and primed. This processor has never liked to run beyond 2.56ghz with any ram, so I can't say that my ram is holding me back.

Why have you loosened the timings so much?

so I could get it to 217. CAS 2 > CAS 2.5 is nothing. You should try it, then maybe you get get your sticks past 202.

I bought these about a year ago.
I was not able to overclock these much (forgot where it peaked. I think it was about 202/203).
I had to RMA one stick, since it wasn't stable.

Otherwise, it runs pretty well at 200 with stock settings.
I'm using an MSI Neo2 Platinum
