going from AlwaysMipmap=1 to AlwaysMipmap=0 helped me out a bunch... this is what i have on my radeon 32 ddr rig btw

Constantly being tweaked. You don't run trilinear and anisotropic on yours?

arent you supposed to pick either one of them (meaning dont they kinda interfere with each other?)
i am in the process of tweaking it out too :)

oh btw, dont the detailed textuers override the s3tc compressed textures? everything looked milky in proximity when i used to have 1 for detailedtextures, now it looks just right with it set at 0...
