Right now, it's mostly stuff that isn't out yet.

4-disc LOTR
Spider-Man
Attack of the Clones

That's all that comes to mind right now. I picked up the Pulp Fiction Collector's Edition and South Park last weekend, two DVDs that I've been wanting to own for a while. And I got both seasons of the Simpsons a few weeks ago from my parents for my birthday, so I'm set as far as that goes.

I will! I intend this to be my new obssession, at least until I catch up on the classics a little...

So really, I'm looking for must-haves - but especially movies other people won't have seen before but will want to. Maybe some good Peter Sellers movies...

OMG, Die Hard 3 was great, much better than the second even.

Also North by Northwest, great movie and I can't believe the quality of this disk considering its age. And I don't think The Thing has been mentioned so far.

Some good ones already listed... you want good Peter Sellers stuff?

My two favorite Peter Sellers flicks are Dr. Strangelove (a must-own regardless) and "Being There" (I also consider this a must-own but I'm sure many would disagree).

He's also great in the Pink Panther movies. We're talking pure comedic genius here... he really didn't make a bad movie in my opinion.

I even love "The Party" despite (and probably because of) its campy late-60's "feel". It's also hilarious, though it was a flop in theaters.

Have fun with your new hobby! Lots of great cinema out there to be enjoyed.

P.S. How could I forget Hitchcock (Vertigo, Rear Window, North by Northwest, The 39 Steps, The Birds) and the rest of the Kubrick Collection (although most importantly Clockwork Orange, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Shining).
