Your ideal roommate

What's your ideal roommate

  • The all-out: always talk about something and don't leave you alone

  • The distant: enter his/her room and do his/her stuff and leaves you alone

  • The all-rounder: a good mix of #1 and #2

  • The invisible: never there but pays his/her share

  • Other: add your own ideal type

Hi all, just a quick poll to know what your ideal roommate would be for you.

I ask this simply because yesterday I had this discussion with some friends and everyone seem to have different opinions.

My ideal roommate would be option 3.

Pole? What poal? I don't see no stinking pohl.

I don't think I could stand having a roommate.

oh sure...NOW the poahl shows up...

A hot female nudist nympho who likes video games and guns who always has her hot female nudist nympho friends over.

Other than a spouse, the ideal roommate would have the rent paid up five years in advance and be dead.

Normal room mate? #2.

Fantasy? Natalie Portman, ScarJo, Zooey Deschanel, and Alison Brie, and oops I forgot, we only have the one room and bed so I guess we have to share...

A girl "lived" with me for a couple of years. Paid rent, half of the utilities.....Actually lived with her boyfriend but didn't want her parents to know. Profit for me.

No roommates is ideal.

I'd take my ideal roommate over no roommates.

we lived together for like 7 years... I worked 4 pm - 12 am and he worked 12 am - 8 am.

we pretty much never ran into eachother, because when I was up in the mornings/afternoons, he'd be asleep, and when I was home in the evenings, he'd be at work.

it was basically like living by myself with a 50% discount in all the bills.

Dunno. I have had several roomies over the years. I'd say my favorite type is the kind that you can hang out with once in a while, but still be more or less separated from your "main" group of friends. But also picks up after themselves. I have one of those now
