Your Hardware $ Total

Go to Newegg and add up all of your orders.

My order history dates back from 10/30/2003. I would say I made about 98% of my purchases from Newegg.

Grand Total: $4270.30

Post your.

no way to get newegg to add it up for you? i guess they dont want you to know... i have 7 pages of orders back to early 04.... im not adding all that up. ballpark around 5k though, a lot of small stuff and a couple complete systems for family and such (so out of my pocket probably about 3k)

$2653 since 2007.

I love getting things next-day from newegg with most-of-the-time-free UPS ground. I hate eggsaver shipping though - it often takes 3-5 days.

I don't have much of a newegg price list since I created a new account after I created my first. I would assume the total I've spent is somewhere around this.

1st computer: HP Pavilion Media Center - $1200 with peripherals

Viewsonic 21" 1440 x 900 - $400

9800GTX+ - $450

MacBook Pro 15" Open Box - $1600

Medium Bamboo Fun - $280

Custom i7 Tower - $1400 with peripherals

21.5" Acer 1440 x 900 - $75

Refurbished 1TB Time Capsule (Broken...) - $250

4GB DDR2 667 Mac Memory - $90

Custom Built Home Server w/ FreeNAS - $330

Medium Wacom intuos4 - $500

2 Hanns - G 23" 1080p Displays - $420

500Gb Western Digital Caviar Blue Notebook HDD - $90

Koss Pro 3AA Headphones - $60

EDIT: Korg NanoKEY - $42

GTX 470 - $270

Samsung External DVD RW - $45

Creative T-110 Speakers - $42

Sennheiser HD-201 Lightweight Headphones - $17

Total: $7561

I still use everything with exception to the HP Pavilion which has been passed off to my family, and the broken SEAGATE hard drive in my Time Capsule. I use the Intuos4 with my main rig and my Bamboo and my Acer with my MacBook Pro. One of my Hanns - G monitors provides display for my i7 workstation and when my family wants to use the HP we switch the video input. My Creative speakers and Sennheisers provide audio for my laptop when at home. I got the external DVD RW because my Superdrive breaking and not caring after seeing EVERY piece of Apple hardware go bad, to buy another Apple product for $170! So there is my entire hardware purchasing history. I'm sure I missed some cables and various knick knacks, but other than a few dollars here and there it's complete.

2001 to 2010 = $13,000

My favorite places for computer stuff include:
Newegg (by far)
Monoprice (awesome buys on cables)
Amazon (sometimes)
MWave (sometimes)
Buy (occasionally)
Computergeeks (not much anymore, but they were unique in the '90s)

In 1997, Buy.com was amazing. They were GIVING stuff away. I still have three early Logitech wireless mice that STILL work. $7.00 each. And I MADE $7 profit (after rebate) on every Diamond video card I purchased (I bought three). Unfortunately, Buy.com these days is very unreliable and it's nearly impossible to browse for products on their site.

5230 on just newegg...id guess 2-3 times that if you include AT for sale/trade and other websites like chiefvalue, zipzoomfly, monoprice, etc.

If you were to include my best buy purchases (being that I was an employee there for several years) into that, my grand total would be somewhere in the 30-40k range (after discount).

Just Newegg, not counting money spent at ewiz, Amazon, Zipzoomfly or Mwave over the last many years is a whopping $13975.07 since 3-11-2003. Easily another $3-4k from the other online vendors.

Although I must confess a chunk of that was for builds I did for people where I was reimbursed, but still...a lot of money. lol. At least I sell my old stuff generally as I upgrade and typically get 50-75% of the original purchase price back....(trying to justify myself here)

1992 - 2010: $35k - $40k

newegg: roughly $8k
amazon: $10k (used amazon more than newegg since I have amazon prime so one day shipping is cheap)
fry's electronics: $18k (impulse buys....so many....)
local computer shops: $4k

There's a gap of $5k since I'm estimating that's the amount that was spent on building computers for families and friends in which they paid me back.

I spent around $2K at Newegg in the last two months alone.

(New video cards and power supplies - three HD6870 Sapphire cards, two Gigabyte GTX460 1GB OC cards, and an MSI TwinFrozr II GTX460 768MB card.)

If Newegg was located in another state they probably be my #1 e-tailer to shop from. Otherwise it's Newegg for computer parts, amazon for everything else.

$1551.80

I price shop so newegg doesn't always get my money. ZZF, Amazon, Mwave, Tigerdirect, Dell, eWiz and others have gotten my money at one time or another based on price and availability.
