Makes oral easier for the ladies, reduces the funk, makes the equipment look a bit bigger.

I personally can't see any advantages of not shaving/trimming...the only purpose that hair has is to trap scents...and I'd rather not trap any more sweaty balls scent than I have too.

Clean shaven really isn't that uncomfortable. That said, I usually keep it trimmed pretty short (doesn't irritate at all) and take a razor to the troops, like I posted before.
