Yea...don't let the door hit you on the way out, ya BUM! I've been here since Ninteen Dickity Two and havn't seen anyone like ya. We had to say Dickity back then because the Kaiser had stolen our word for Twenty. Perhaps when you GROW UP you will understand what the rest of us go through and wont be such a JERK all the time. People like you are the SCUM of the earth and should be BANNED for your horrible ATTITUDE. You've gotten me so mad I can't even finish my Mac n' Cheese. There will be no missing...turtletailor

Hmmm, I wish I could remember why I posted that since I didn't even know the guy, but here's the link.

Wow, talk about a lurker; I joined in May 2000 and didn't post until Oct. 23, 2000, asking about a BIOS update for my ASUS V7700 vid card.

I don't remember, but I think it was in the Cases & Cooling forum, asking questions from someone who'd bought a Koolance case. It might also have been in the Motherboards forum, as I was researching those at the time I joined.

I found it!

It was in the CPU/Cooling forum in July of 2000 regarding the paper launch of Intel's PIII-1.13Ghz.

" Why does it matter who fabs the fastest CPU if no one can buy them anywhere? " is what I said. :D

Mine was about buying a laptop from someone in the FS/T forums.
Then went unused for a better part of a year.

I was here before FuseTalk. I have no clue what my first post was. I'm sure it was in GH or HD though. I didn't discover off-topic till much later.

Mine in Hot Deals:

"The Yamaha comes with NERO 5.5, NERO toolkit and about 6 other software packages. Also it has an 8MB buffer. A little noisy, but so far has worked great for me. "

ummm, not much to say about it.

The search found some threads in Hardware on Athlon coolers. But when I bring them up, it gives everything in triplicate and I can't find my post.

Was done about a week after I registered.

I'm getting DSL installed Thursday...errr...tomorrow. It's from BellSouth in Georgia, but it's supposedly (sp?) different. It's IFITL (Integrated Fiber In The Loop). From what I understand they have to install some kind of special network interface on the outside of my house and then run CAT-5 through the wall to the PC. Anyone heard of this or know anything else about it?

I might be looking to trade my iPaq for a decent laptop. Here's the specs on it;

650Mhz p3
256MB pc 100 cas 2-2-2
8.4 GB HDD
LS-120 Superfloppy
24X CD-ROM
10/100 NIC
intergrated sound and vid.

http://www.compaq.com/products/desk...PAQ/index.shtml

It has had some upgrades. Mainly processor and memory. It does have legacy ports as well. I'm open to all decent offers. Anything that's at least pentium 2 class and 350 mhz and above with a bare minimum of 64megs memory with 4GB HDD & NIC will do fine. Post what you got and if I see something I like, we'll cut a deal. Thanks

I have plenty of references at eBay under kaervak, a few heatware evals under the user Evil Bunny, and have been on the hardforum since december 2000 and have done a number of deals on there. Thanks again

Funny thing is, I still have the iPaq. I'm waiting on the rest of my money so I can finally ship the damn thing out to the buyer.
