Im going to go out on a limb here,i really loved my v3-2000 agp.
list yer fav/you know the one you just didnt want to take out of your machine.

S3 Virge 4MB card. Still have it, don't use it anymore though. Guess I'm sentimental cuz it was my first vid card ever.

My current CL GeForce 2 GTS.

Of course for wow factor, it has to go to the original 3Dfx Voodoo based Diamond Monster 3D.

I'd say the Voodoo1.....when I first got it running in Quake, I was stunned, thrilled and excited😀! {NO! Not like that!:Q]

I have actually two favorites. One was the Matrox Millenium, that card was super fast for its day. Even today it can hold its own (in 2d of course).
The second is the Voodoo2 (and voodoo1, basically the same but 2 had more mem and can SLI) This card pretty much set the standard. It was fast, looked pretty damn cool and needed no IRQs! I miss the 3d addon card. I hate having to get rid of a perfectly good card to stay on the cutting edge.

The old Voodoo 2 of course. The greatest board ever...tears came to my eye when I parted way with the SLI setup for a ViperII...which lead my back to my long love 3dfx w/a V5. Then that dirty bastard nVidia broke into my house and kidnapped poor 3dfx...dear lord!

Probably the Voodoo3. Despite it's lack of 32 bit color (which I honestly didn't miss) it's lasted longer than any other card I've owned. It was also cheap to begin with; I paid <$100 for a V3 3000.

Im going to go off the end and say my GeForce DDR... at the time nothing could touch it. It smacked every other card like nobodys buisness. It was a huge jump from the TNT and it was just a good card. And it still does very well right now.

I would have to say my Hercules prophet 2 gts. I also liked the diamond viper series of cards, because the drivers were so damn stable. Also the Diamond monster 2 because you could combine it with the vipers and have nvidia and 3dfx. The best of both worlds!

Id have to agree with Tominator and say the Voodoo 1, simply for the impact it made when I switched from plain Quakeworld, to Quakeworld in 3d. I think I stayed up until 4AM the first night I got it just playing...

I agree with the Voodoo3 voters out there. As far as performance to price, it's outstanding, and still today can hold its own in just about any game I throw on it. It's definitely had the longevity to keep up with new games and new technology, and has always seemed to work well right out of the box - little or no configuration needed.

Voodoo 2 was the best for so many reasons. 1st it was an add on board, and augmented your 2D... Expandible to 2 cards for SLI. So you didn't have to spend your $400 all at once. Great performance for the time... I kind of wish these 3D companies would just make a 3D card like the V2, it sucks how bad the 2D quality is getting on these increasingly expensive cards...
