Your favorite Subway sandwich?

Steve

My local Subway used to carry the Roast Garlic Peppercorn Steak sub. I loved to get that on Italian Herbs & Cheese, with pepperjack cheese, lettuce, cucumber, pickle, and even green peppers, plus salt & pepper, oregano, and a little sweet onion sauce 😎 the only thing better would be if the garlic paste they had last year was available to spread on the bread too.

Unfortunately it's not been offered for a couple months at least, so I'm resigned to the Steak & Cheese in a similar recipe, or the Chicken & Bacon Ranch (on wheat). And sometimes I just go for the good ol' Meatball Marinara with parmesan.

Anyone tried their pizzas? I found them to be actually quite good, better than when McDonald's makes pizzas.

Classic Subway Melt. Been eating that sandwich for damn near 10+ years now.

Melt is the best. I get mine plain on wheat. Healthy? Probably not. Delicious? Yes.

I always seem to get one with Chicken, Bacon, and Ranch. I think I'm gonna try something different though. That, sweet onion chicken teriyaki, and a turkey sub are about all I've tried.

I used to have a favorite........ Steak with provolone.
Now they've switched the steak to a diff type of meat/thickness................ No steak for me now. I get my old standby which is the COLD CUT COMBO (Cold Cut Trio now)

New STEAK= CRAPPPPPPP!

BLT
No tomatoes
Provolone cheese
Banana peppers
Jalepeno peppers
Parmesan cheese
Oregano
Light oil
Light vinegar
Toast it if possible, otherwise I throw it in the microwave to melt the cheese.

QFT. That's exactly the sandwich I get including all the toppings.

If I must eat Subway (as in, there's no Blimpie within 10 miles), the BMT wins. I once had them custom make me a sandwich with chicken, pepperoni, and cheese, and it was pretty good, but they charged me out the arse for it.

My favorite was the Buffalo Chicken until they discontinued it. 🙁 For now, it is the Club on italian herbs and cheese bread. The works, minus onions and green peppers. Lots of soutwest chipotle sauce. Money!

😀
