You should, if you ignore all the god stuff it provides some pretty good insight to human nature. That is not to say I read it all the time, in fact I have only seriously read it a few times in my life.

Not to mention whether this is a good thing or a bad thing, you really cannot understand many of the refrences in our society without reading the bible. Not to mention your screwed if you get a religion category on Jeopardy.
