So I guess you're all mindless drones, slaves to mainstream crap? :(

god i hate your type.

just because it's obscure doesn't make it good or relevant.

I didn't say I had to like it, or it to be underground. But if you think that most mainstream new music is good, then well I don't know what to say.

Exactly.
Just because a band is unsigned it doesn't make them better than vintage Peter Gabriel or modern Grant-Lee Phillips.

Just because Sarah McLachlan's cover of "Solsbury Hill" is hard to find it isn't better than "Hold On" or "Ben's Song."

The Trio Bulgarka album I have is pleasant, but much less enjoyable than their appearance on Kate Bush's "Rocket's Tail."

90% of mainstream music is crap, but so is at least 90% of the music by obscure ultra-indie artists.

Once again, I didn't say underground or indie. My song is by Guns N' Roses but it was an unreleased bootleg and I happen to think it's a good song but it wasn't heard much and never became popular because it wasn't released. I said *non-popular* song, doesn't mean the band can't be popular. There are some underrated songs on albums that are true gems but are never really looked at fully. I made this thread so I could get an idea of some good songs.
