In the market for a new Motorola bluetooth headset. What's your favorite? There are so many models I don't know what to choose from...

Why are you so keen on Motorola? I find they're crap. I have a Plantronics 510 and Jawbone.

Yeah, go for a Jawbone if you can afford one.

edit: only 1 of the 3 Motorola's I have is 'crap'. I forget the model though.

edit 2: HS815 was the crap one.

I've used both Plantronics and Motos. So far, I've preferred the H700 from Motorola for it's size and battery life.

I want the Jawbone soo bad. I have a Jx10, voyager 510, HS820, and Scala 500

:( im a BT whore

Performance & Quality:

voyager 510
Jabra Jx10
Scala 500
Moto HS820

Comfort
Voyager 510
Jabra Jx10
Moto HS820 (hurts back of my ear)
Scala 500 (hurts my innner ear)

I can say that the Voyager 510 is the best BT I own. It is in use daily and has never failed me. Once this BT dies, I will buy the Jawbone. My brother says that his moto 850 (or what ever its numbered) is pretty good but just as uncomfortable as the 820.

They use the same mini-USB charger as Motorola cell phones, which my wife and I both have. My friend picked up a Jawbone and the quality of the calls is so-so despite the noise cancellation being outstanding. I'll wait for version 2.

That IS version 2, unless they bought it 6+ months ago?

I have the H700 and its a decent headset. Pairs quickly with my Razr, sound quality is acceptable, light weight.

My only grip is that it doesn't sit well on my ear, if I turn my head quickly it will shift or fly off.

I had to exchange it for a new one though. The mic boom started giving me problems connecting and disconnecting. I guess the wear and tear from opening and closing the mic boom caused the mechanism that pairs the phone to go bad.

Yeah...the current Bluetooth model makes you sound flat, like a robot. Hopefully the next version will be a little warmer.

Are these the same members who a few years ago was laughing at the people who first started wearing these things?

ATOT: The experiment in double standards :p
