"mosquito"

lol that movie was funny. Basic plot was that an alien spaceship crashed in a swamp in a national park, and the mosquitos feed off of the aliens bodys, causing them to grow to huge sizes. They go round killing everyone in the park. Best scene- 2 people are 'doin it' in a tent, guy steps out to take a leek. A giant mosquito comes in and starts using it's tongue thing kind 'tasting' the women, who is lying on her front, so she thinks it's her guy like kissing her. she turns around "oh my god!!!" and it impales her on it's sucker thing lol

i never saw the end though, does anyone know how they killed all the mosquitos? i heard that this movie is renound for when they set off a huge bomb a character hid under a boat and wasn't hurt.

Killer Clowns rocked. I would love to get my hands on a copy.

Half the movies mentioned aren't SF, or aren't that bad :p

If you want to see an extremely farfetched, very funny, non-SF one: Mafia vs Ninja.
Other classics are Neon Maniacs and Death Race 2000 (Carmageddon was based on it).

Edit: Anyone remember The Toxic Avenger? Especially the sequels? :p

Put me down for "Plan 9 from Outer Space". First runner-up would be "Robot Monsters", which I have not seen in many years. The "alien" in the movie was a guy in a gorilla suit wearing a deep-sea divers helmet!

LOL..I remember Prince of Darkness. Basically, Satan's "essence" is found in a container under a church. His "essence" looks like Scope :D The "essence" worked its way around the cast turning them into the always classic zombies. I watched that with my dad when I was a teenager and we were making bets on who would get "Scoped" next.

Followed the classic John Carpenter formula - Mixed group of people trapped in some sort of building fighting an unspeakable evil/mob/zombies. The one thing that I have to give John Carpenter credit for is his choice hot women for his women (Escape from New York and Escape from LA being the exceptions to the rule).

It is a really old movie, and I dont remember the title. It had some guy walking on a sand dune near a fence and he gets swallowed by the sand into a ship thingy. Anybody remember the name of that movie, early-mid 70's?? You will remember what I am talking about if you saw it, lol.

Any movie that is willing to put Jeff Goldblum in a garish cowboy costume through the entire movie gets my vote! :D That takes some cajones!

See... that was meant to be stupid though, it was satire.

Hmm, good point. Funny though :) Damn, if only Guy Ritche made some bad sci-fi...
How about 'liquid sky', then?

Since I'm in it right now, I'm going to throw out "Little Shop Of Horrors."
And not the late one with Rick Moranis. The old one that was famous for having been filmed in one weekend and featured Jack Nicholson in a bit part as the patient.
