FF3(6), Chrono Cross was good, and while I'm still playing FF9, it simply RULES!
Overall though, I think it's a tie between FF6 and Metal Gear Solid
 
I can play donkey kong jr. for hours without getting sick of it, even though it's the same thing over and over, so it would probably get my vote.
 
I think Civilization was my favorite of all time but the game I played the most was Half-Life Counterstrike. Both games are addicting like crack
 
The Zelda series except for Zelda 2. (Majora's Mask included. Despite the mixed opinions about this game, I personally like it.)

Samurai Shodown series

 
computer game would have to be Starcraft...

console: I enjoyed the Mario series, Zelda series, Final Fantasy series... and Grand Turismo... can't pick one out of them.
