Your favorite FPS of all time!?!

what is your favorite or best in your opinion FPS of all time for the PC and any Console (put which console too)? also, what is your favorite multiplayer FPS for each?

PC: Farcry (single), Counter Strike (multi)
Console: James Bond: Goldeneye (N64) (multi and sinlge)

changed the question a bit to include mulitplayer
 
PC: I loved Call of Duty and Return to Castle Wolfenstein

Console: i don't like console FPS's (only b/c i suck at them)
 
CS (CS:S now).

Desert combat is my top game these days, but it's not strictly a FPS since you can fly fighter jets, and drive tanks, etc etc etc

except for Halo...it seem to be an enormous success. Maybe these Halo addicts havent try out CS be4. I loved CS but i can never get into Halo

tie: Halo and Goldeneye

for all of you that bitch about console FPS not having a mouse you really need to STFU, i played just about every PC FPS from doom to quake and tribes, CS up to unreal 2003 and NEVER had an issue with the controller on games like Halo, Goldeneye, Time Splitters.....

I'm starting to believe that you either have horrid hand eye coordination or are just too stupid to figure it out

PC: Heretic (I just really liked the theme)
Console: James Bond: Goldeneye (N64)

 
PC: Currently its CS:S. I'm still waiting for DoD:S (Day of Defeat: Source

Console: Halo. However Golden Eye gets an Honorable Mention
 
It's hard for me to narrow it down, but my top PC FPS games would have to be HL1 (and the expansion packs), the original Unreal, and Quake.
