Your Favorite European Sedan

bimmer for sport. mercedes for luxury/cruising.

vote for bimmer. i like a manual tranny. 🙂

I was almost tempted to throw in an Infinity G35 just so Skoorb could have something to vote for. 😉

The A4 is included. The S4 and the M3 are in different price ranges than these cars. I'd have to throw in an X-Type R and a Mercedes C320 AMG. Then we're looking at $55k cars instead of $38k cars.

don't know much about the alfa. this is a rather tough choice for me. i own an a4 but i'm not sure if it would be the best bargain at the v6 level.

The Alfa is front wheel drive only. 300hp 3.2l v6. Supposed to be pretty fun cars to drive, but horrendously unreliable. And they depreciate like none other.

Why not a Maybach?
1) Because the Audi costs $70-80,000 and the Maybach costs north of $200,000.
2) I prefer driving my own vehicle and the Maybach is too sedate for my taste.
3) Because the title of this thread is "Your Favorite European Sedan"

Any other questions?

This is a stupid ass poll. List all european sedans, not all european sedans in a certain price range. wtf.

It would be ridiculous to list every Euro sedan there is. First off, I couldn't do it, and second, they're not competitors. THese cars are all competitors. The AUdi A8L and the Maybach are not. The Maybach isn't more 'sedate' than the A8L, seeing as how it'll rip it a new one in every performance category.

While I imagine most people will say they like the 330...I will have to say an A4 (quattro, V6...especially with new V6 coming out...although I've obviously never driven). the Audi interior/exterior is much nicer in my opinion than the BMW. The driving...while probably not as nice...is still brilliant in the A4.

Every performance category, perhaps, if you consider the dragstrip to be the only measure of "performance".
