i was just listening to some art bell (or whoever does it now) on the radio
am coast to coast.
basically, people call up the show at 3 am and talk about awesome conspiracy theories, alien abductions they have experienced and other oddball entries in their lives that range from mild dillusion to flat-out crazed.

anyway, this one was one about the global use of weather to manipulate the planet.

I think the real conspiracy is with the medical industry these days. How is it possible for scientists to be so close to cloning people but they can't cure the common cold? Sometimes I wonder if there's a cure out there for aids or cancer but its just not being used. The money is in the treatment of illnesses not the cures. Besides with the overpopulation of the planet maybe the goverment wants to thin out the herd.

It's certainly not the weirdest one out there, but several years back, I made up "NBSP - The Doomsday Tag" and I still get people emailing me to ask how they can rid their computers of the "nbsp" virus. (And I see people searching on it, too.)

secret nasa transmissions: the smoking gun

basically, this dude tried to collect all the nasa satelite and camera feeds he could while working at a broadcast station and found lots of unexplainable footage when watching in slow motion etc. i believed it but im still not sure what kind of intelligence could have been involved in what he was describing but there is definitely some movement on camera that cannot be explained easily with physics (changing directions midflight and velocities etc)

Yea, how come I always read about "progress" but the cure never gets any closer. When it comes to the big important stuff, it seems like we have been 20 years away from a cure for the past 20 years!

I'd be suprised if there were those cures.

However, I would be more suprised if any lab with good funding has a goal of finding them, in lieu(ps) of permanent treatments that actually make them money.
