Your favorite city in the U.S. to visit?

So far mine is Vegas (but that's my most recent trip also) 🙂

I also like Tuscan for some strange reason....

yours??

I am also planning to visit vegas soon. (my first time 😀)

When is the best time to go.? it will be during our spring vacation...

would it matter if we are there on weekends or weekdays? (quality of the shows and the level of fun wise..)

any tips on best hotel and perhaps some deals? ( we are on student budget 🙂)

Minneapolis!!!! I love that city!

oh yeah, and Vegas too of course... specifically, the block where Crazy Horse Two is located 🙂

I found the Excalibur to be a good "happy medium" as far as location and cost goes (and still be in the heart of the strip). Friday and Saturday nights are overly expensive everywhere. but weekdays are priced well at any of the mid-range places.

edit: BTW, if you are going to have a car while you are there, stay in the cheapest hotel you can find off the strip. Every casino has free parking and you can stay all night 🙂

I forgot to mention Seattle. I lived there for awhile (10 years) and realized I prefer to visit than be a permanent resident. (I lived there during the grunge years though and that was way cool!. Saw Soundgarden live under the space needle in the mid 90's 🙂 )

stay off excalibur like the plague.. that place is a dump

monte carlo is much better for the same price

Vegas is my favorite place to lose money.

New Orleans is my favorite place to lose money while stumbling around public streets drunk out of my mind.

I could probably stand to live in Vegas, but I would be a huge gambling/alcohol addict.

I will probably vote San Diego as America's nicest city, assuming you can afford to live there.
