I would hope that's several levels above Hershey's. I can get 2-3 Lindt bars for that price. Just sayin'./skimmed thread and I'm not a chocolatesnobaficionado.
I like this chocolate which is probably 1-2 levels above Hersheys which I'm OK with. It's been a while but I think it's around $2 a bar at our local supermarket.

Edit: For $2 I'd definitely try this, but right now it's $9.33 at Amazon! Only 4 reviews there and one says they got it for $4, so I guess the price varies very widely depending on Amazon's whims.
So far, I'm really pleased with the Teuscher and Leonidas. I've never been into the cremes, truffles, soft center chocolates. In fact I used to avoid them entirely, I've had so many awful experience. Undoubtely this is because I've been exposed to mainly cheap assortments over the years. I would pick out the nuts and chews and avoid the rest. However, the assortments I just obtained are a revelation. Now, I was semi-prepared for this because I've been enjoying Lindt Truffles for several years.
