Please reply with your favorite cartoon(s) that both debuted in the 90's and retired/left/discontinued/etc... in the 90's also.

You might want to visit YesterdayLand.com to jog your memory a bit.

--------------------------

Anyway mine is a 3 way tie between

1. Rocko's Modern Life
2. SWAT Kats (Would be #1 if there was more Episodes created! :() [ Help a fan out! ]
3. Tale Spin

I like the adult jokes and parodies of many of life's hardships in Rocko,

The depth, setting, and storyline (And all the action (Not to mention all the jokes on Commander Ferral)) in SWAT Kats,

And of course Tale Spin with that storyline that kept me glued to the TV.

Your faves?

I loved Rocko too :)

I'd vote for Gargoyles...

Or the long forgotten "Plucky Duck Show" (NOT Tiny Toons)

i guess i'll have to go with batman: the animated series. (i think that was cancelled in the 90's then they moved on to batman beyond)

i also liked x-men, although the animation was horrible.

and back in high school i use to watch pokemon every morning before going to school. i found it strangely addicting...

While "The Simpsons" are without a doubt the God of 90s cartoons,
I'll will choose a show that I miss dearly (and think I am the only one that misses it  )

Yeah, but it was mostly just collections of regular Tiny Toon Adventures episodes staring Plucky, but it did have original content. Most was assimilated into TTA's new episodes after The Plucky Duck Show ended, but was butchered. One thing that sticks in my memory (Being a gamer) was the short with Plucky singing some song about playing an arcade. When TPDS ended, they incorporated it into a "Top 10 Music Video Countdown" episode of TTA's, but they took out all the cool stuff about the "Starship Enterprise" frying his brain or something. :(

I was gonna say C&D: Rescue Rangers but that started in the 80's didn't it?

Eek! The cat... That was another good one. When Eek asked the "Captain Kirk" knock-off trying to destroy the universe to "think about what you're doing!", he made history as the first manical super-villian to say "Oh my GOD! What was I THINKING?!"

Was M.A.S.K in the 90's? I thought that was an late 80's remnant? Otherwise I would list that as well. :D

Gargoyles and Beast Wars

Those cartoons were awesome, then they switched networks and went to crap. Doh!

<< Anyone liked Pirates of Dark Water? >>

That was another good one! I dug it more for the design and style of it. Oh, and I was always a fan of the Ghostbusters cartoon. Not the revamp, but the direct spin-off from the movie. That had a couple of really good seasons. :D

Whatever happened to Bob & Margaret? Wasnt the inspired by the Independant Canadian Cartoon Bob's Birthday? And isn't the setting in England instead of Canada? Or is it still on the air is the big question.
