Your dream computer

This thread will probably get crapped on, but that's ok I don't care. I am curious to see what machine you would build if you had a $3000 budget to build whatever you want. What would you go for???

AMD X2 4400+
DFI LANPARTY UT SLI-DR
2x1GB PC3200
2x 6800GT (SLI)
Seagate Barracuda 7200.8 400GB
NEC 16X DVDR 3520A
Lite-On 16X DVD-ROM
Floppy
CM Stacker
PC Power and Cooling Turbo-Cool 510 Express/SLI
Audigy 2ZS
Dell 2005FP 20"
Creative Labs Gigaworks S750

I have no idea what the final price would be, but the prices were just esitmated.

Man, if I had $3000 to spend on a computer, I'd split it into 2 $1500 systems or 3 $1000 systems then Craigslist some 17" CRTs if I didn't have enough for LCDs.

I've already managed to hit the US$2200 mark with the X2 system I'm building (see rig), but if I had $800 more to spend, I'd probably get SCSI. 😛

Yeah I agree, I would for sure try and go SCSI 320, and I would go for a liquid cooled X2 4800+.
