For me, "I love everybody (and other atrocious lies): true tales of a loudmouth girl" by Laurie Notato.

technically I haven't read an entire book since like 6th grade... but I'm trying to start again. Reading Timeline by Michael Crichton right now 🙂

The Hercules Text
A Talent for War
(both bound in one volume)
Jack McDevitt

Not the strongst stuff out there, but McDevitt is a fun read.

Heh ... isn't that the one where they make the comet -> hot fudge sundae analogy?
That scene cracked me up. One of Niven's better efforts.

I never read without being told to, so this summer I've decided to become a reader, and I've actually read these 3 books!

Sleeping With the Devil: How Washington Sold Our Soul for Saudi Crude by Robert Baer
The Mote in God's Eye by Larry Niven, Jerry Pournelle
Alas, Babylon by Pat Fran

And I'm also getting around to taking English 102 (sad for a Junior) this summer and will be reading quite a bit in there.

yeap! yeah i was laughing pretty hard at that. I tried to explain it to my wife and she just shrugged. heh darn good book.

The Gate of Winter, Mark Anthony.

I also read Song of Susannah, the new Dark Tower book, on Tuesday.

"Blue Truth" by Cherokee Paul McDonald is on it's way to me in the mail.

It's about the psychological impact that police work has on an Officer.

bill clinton - my life.

i'm only at the point where he found out he was gonna be a rhodes scholar. and that's page friggin 100 something. this is gonna take a while.

last read was reading harry potter and the order of the phoenix again. next read will probably be the bourne identity 😀 or maybe finding the notebook.

last read: A People's History of the United States
current read: Gehenna: The Final Night (a bit pulpy, but I've always had a thing for the World of Darkness... it's easier/cheaper to follow the WoD through the novels than through constantly buying new source books)

I am currently reading "The Ancient Engineers". Another awesome bargain-bin find at B&N, lol.

Wizard's First Rule by Terry Goodkind..Sword of Truth series, great book!! I was kind of skeptical because of the title itself but a co-worker finally pursuaded me into reading it. After about 50 pages I couldn't get enough of it! It's also the first book of 8 I think, just starting "Stone of Tears". Highly recommend it!

Also- Mystic River and Sacred both by Dennis Lehane, mystery thrillers, good reads.
