Your cravings detering techniques?

i try and try sometimes i succeed... sometimes i fail ending up buying fast food to quench my cravings...

i merely ignore, go home and sleep... of course like i said, not 100% proven to deter me.

share your ways! ;) thanks.

well it'll help if you dont eat fast food for your craving. eat a salad or something, that way its not as bad. its also better to eat multiple small meals a day than to eat three large meals.

I'm able to indulge in my cravings every now and then because they don't own me anymore. But getting here was another story, I basically gave up everything I perceived as bad for a year. That was the real craving killer. I eventually came back from it, but the cravings just never had the same hold on me. It's like, I used to get some ice cream, suck it down and then immediately want more. These days if I eat ice cream, it's enjoyable, but I get sick of the taste usually before I'm done. It's like, "ok too sweet, need something different now".

Sometimes I'll buy a Mt Dew, just to remind myself what it tastes like, but I end up throwing it away before I've even drank half.

Eat something good before bed. Fast food makes me sick as hell, so that's my deterrent.

Stuff yourself with low calorie veggies or fruits 1 - 2 hours before bedtime (lettuce or carrots, for example). Drink a glass of milk (if you're lactose tolerant and don't hate it) afterwards. Right before going to bed, brush your teeth and use Listerine or an equivalent mouthwash.

Just snack on something good, like have a banana or something. Keep eating little snacks throughout the day and you won't be as hungry all the time.

Now if I could only listen to myself. I have a shake in the morning, a nutrition bar at like 10:30, lunch at 12:30 but then I don't usually eat till like 6 or 7, and a lot of times I don't even eat dinner..

Eat something. But eat something healthy. I usually eat a salad with a can of olive-oil soaked tuna over it, or a handfull of grapes and a few spoons of cottage cheese.

I scream into a pillow until I finally cry myself to sleep.

Actually, when I first started a 6 meal plan I was always hungry at night. Now, I just make sure that my 6th meal is something that fills me up. I just make sure my 8pm meal is a good one.
