Intel put/was putting a serial number identification system on the P3's when they were first released. The serial number could potentially be used to track your usage.
After Intel felt the flames, they quickly stopped promoting the serial number system.

They can find you (at your home address) from your IP address that is logged in you cookies, cache and the weather company server. I am not trying to start anything.
