Haven't used "computer speakers" in quite a few years. I think my last pair were Cambridge Soundworks PCWorks...

Nice setup.

Any pics?

Sony 500W amp, SCE (? never heard of them before, but they're cheap) 5.0 surround system. No sub.
Sennheiser RS 65 wireless headphones.

SB Live! MP3+ 5.1 digital.

The speakers look good and the amp.

But thespeaker position is a bit strange though. You are sitting inbetween them. But I can see how hard it would be positon them on your desk since they are floor standers!

Gee, I really skimped on the audio part of my computer system setup. I use the integrated 5.1 channel audio on my Shuttle XPC's motherboard, which I pipe out to Logitech Z-340's.

Oh well. At least it sounds better than the integrated audio and speakers on my Thinkpad 🙂

onboard sound and the funny looking old-style microphone/xbox altec lansing 2.1s from cc for $19 a few months ago.

plenty satisfied with SB Live Value running Creative Lab 2.1s.... Koss KSC-35 can already point out bad mp3s

Creative SBLive! XGamer 5.1 sound card (16-bit) and Cambridge SoundWorks 5.1.

Whenever I get some money I'll buy a 24-bit or 32-bit (whenever they come out) for Doom III. I got this sound system for Doom III as soon as I heard Reznor was doing the sound and music in 5.1.

Also, is it me or does Creative have some of the worst software on the market?
