Your comments on cooling please

Title says it all. Is it necessary? Should I take out the ultra quiet intel hs w/ Sanyo Denki fan and put my Alpha PEP66 back in? Should I hack up my case and put in 4 (yes, 4) 120 mm YS Tech fans (1 on the side blowing air onto hs, 1 in front blowing in, 1 on top blowing out, and 1 on bottom blowing in) and 1 92mm YS Tech fan in the back blowing out? Will any of this help or is this just for the insane? Thoughts on peltier wanted to please?

I have a Celeron II 533A, currently overclocked to 880mhz using a single 92mm fan blowing air directly onto my Intel hs. I have a Global WIN that I was using, but couldn't overclock past a 110mhz fsb. Could be ram (generic, NEC) that is the problem, but not sure. Would this massive, over 500cfm of air addition, be any help? Can I hit a gigahertz without a peltier? Did I hit the max on the cpu?

Any comments are appreciated, except stupid ones.

If your temps ar OK then no need to do that. If there not ok then yes do it... but dont have three fans blowing in and only one blowing out or you run the risk of blowing air out your drives and thats not good.... remember same amount of fans blowing in as blowing out....

What are the temperatures inside your case like? The only reason to increase the airflow is if the air inside your case is hot. If its not, then its fine and you shouldn't bother with the mod.

If the air in the case if reasonably cool, and the heat sink is warmer than the air around it, then a better fan for the heat sink may help cool off the heatink a bit better. If this gets the air inside your case hot, then maybe you should consider a better intake/exhaist for the case, but probably not four more fans.

If your CPU is still hot, then you should consider some more hardcore cooling options. Just try to keep in mind that it may be cheaper to get a newer CPU instead of buying $100 worth of fans, heatsinks, and other cooling gear.
