always great to put all the extra hard drives you have laying around together into one PC.. make a sort of MEDIA PC for all your songs, movies and files and such. Thats what i did with my old PC -

AMD Athlon 900 mhz
512 PC133 RAM
80 GB WD
20 GB maxtor
20 GB Quantum (Dont ask.. never heard of it but i got it out of my mothers Compaq)
ATI Radeon 9250(AGP ofcourse)

Was the Quantum the giant hard drives that they had in some Compaqs up to the ~1.5ghz range?

Yes, I believe it was, saw one of those in my parents old compaq over the winter. Very interesting concept and design

I doubt it but I'm sure there's an equivalent organisation in the states.

My old computer still worked fine, but I needed a serious upgrade for video encoding. I just cleaned all the crap out of the machine that my sister would never use and that I didn't want anyone to see and gave it to her as a Christmas present.
