Your "best place to live"

I have three places I'd be willing to live, and no amount of pay or coaxing can get me to live anywhere else.

Austin, San Diego or Hawaii. I need the temperate climate, the laid back atmosphere and easy access to water for playtime.
 
Christchurch, Canada, or somewhere in Scandinavia. It'll be nice and cool most of the year, it's civilised, and most of all, it's not the USA.
 
Somewhere in the Caribbean. Maybe St Martin or Aruba.

East Coast Canada. Somewhere quite and overlooking the ocean.

Japan, just seems like it would be a fascinating country to live in.

The Caribbean turns me off...I don't like how touristy it is and I don't like the way the residents (sometimes rightfully so) seem to only have a love your money & hate you attitude.

It's an island of cliche's.

Althoughhhhhhh some aint so bad.
 
I'm very fond of where I currently live. Telluride,CO would be tops on my list as well as several cities in Switzerland and Austria. I also would love to live in Carmel, CA.

I have not been to New Zealand yet, but I have a feeling I would enjoy it a lot as well.
 
Continental US...San Diego. (can't beat the climate)

US...Maui

World? Not sure...Cook Islands, Bora Bora, parts of Australia.

And for that, we USA'ers are eternally grateful.
 
I enjoy Colorado, but do miss Oceanside and that area. I think I'd take the warm waters of St. Croix again though, wonderful place and I really enoyed being there.
 
Give me a lake view, maybe some mountains....something semi remote (within 15-30 min of civilization and I'm happy.

Although snow can be PITA, I don't mind all 4 seasons.
 
Home base in SoCal, but I'd like to have maybe three or four places with other features of local interest. West of Las Vegas there is a community of condo's around a race track, that would be fun from time to time. Hawaii is so laid back. London is a fun town.
 
Somewhere with generally cool weather, lots of plant life, mountains, and water. Something like the Pacific Northwest, I guess.

It was MOTHAFUCKIN COLD here in the PNW last week! 😵

Supposed to be back into the mid-40's in a couple of days.

Damned Canucks...keep your cold weather up there!

I like a little sharp cold from time to time, but I really like the way the summers look up there. I can't handle the three months of lows above 75 for much longer. I'd love to find a job up there.
