Your Beer Gut could save your life!

:Q Wow lucky guy!

I'm glad they used the correct medical terms such as "Blubber"😉

What's a stone? "The docs told me if he had been ten stone lighter he would have died."

A Stone is a measurement of weight in Europe/England.

just england, most of Europe uses the metric system.

hope they catch the bastards who did this to him

Has it occurred to any of you that had he been 10 stone lighter the saw would have missed him completely and he would have been fast enough to get away?

Not to mention that in such an alternate timeline there might not even be powersaws, or even electricity, or even, gasp, beer:Q

Alternate timeline? put the hash pipe down son, if you pulled a powersaw out of the jeep do you think I'd be around to get cut by it! gat a clue 😉 Ofcourse if your a fat bastard you're not going to get far huh? 😎

We're not talking about me, we're talking about the fat dude, only a lot lighter. I know, we could make him lose 140 pounds, or whatever 10 stones works out to, and try to cut him again. If he dies, then being a lardass really did save him the first time:Q

I didn't intend to imply you, I appologize if it came out that way 🙂 However, the pretext for writting the article is that his blubber saved him, I am contending that it prevented him from out running someone carrying a saw and thus resulted in his injuries.

Can you believe the words they use to refer to him? "Fatty" and "Porky"? I thought whales have "blubber". "It's a good job I had that layer to protect me..." "JOB"? You mean "THING"? Four "yobs" trespassing at a "footie ground". What fscking language are they speaking, here??!?!?!?!

I agree that if he hadn't been a fat slob that he could have better defended himself or simply run away when he heard the saw. Either he was too fat to get away or too stupid from all the beer killing his brain cells and his over-taxed heart couldn't pump enough oxygen up to his brain for him to add 2 and 2.

If I were a yob trespassin' at a footie ground I'd have busted out laughin' if I sar this huge tub o' lard comin' up at meh!

"I'm gonna cut 'im!"

Who the F*%#K picks up a circular saw to cut someone?!?!? And who is stupid enough not to run when you hear him fire it up???

You just gotta sit back and laugh at those wacky brits.

I wasn't mad, I just meant that even if you or I could avert getting cut, there are still too many circumstances to know if he could have even if he were a normal weight. The article said that he had been beaten in the head. Maybe he still wouldn't have been able to get out of the way. The only sititation we have to compare to is the one that actually happened, and in that situation his gut actually did save him. I see your point, but there are too many things that would have made him avoid the situation entirely.
