Student arrested over Net threat to 'take the balls' of schoolkids


HIMI, Toyama -- A university student who posted a message on an Internet bulletin board threatening to "take the balls" of elementary school students in a district of Hokkaido has been arrested, police said.

The 19-year-old student, whose name cannot be released because he is a minor, was arrested on suspicion of forcible obstruction of business.

Police accuse the 19-year-old, a first year university student, of writing a message on an Internet message board threatening to harm elementary school students in Obihiro, Hokkaido.

"Tomorrow I'm going to take the balls of elementary school students in Obihiro," a section of the message read.

As a result of the message, the Obihiro Municipal Board of Education sent a warning out to elementary school students in the city. (Mainichi)

That IS odd, considering the age of consent is something like 14, high school education is optional, and all 11 year olds are smoking already.
