I just got to be me.

Politics don't define my character. They do however define the character of anyone who disagrees with my political views. 😛
 
I'm most closely small-"l" libertarian, and lean kinda center from there, but if I had to choose between right and left, I more closely agree with right.

Oh, and I'm the same on AT as in real-life. I'm not playing a character for a show or movie, or a troll, so why wouldn't I be the same?
 
I don't really think I am either, in real life or the forums (I am the same person in both places, at least as far as I can tell).

I am definitely "left"-leaning, but I'm also pretty sure I have some "right" views; can't think of what they are right now though. :hmm:

I don't portray any persona online, I'm the same asshole in real life that I am online. Those who insist on political labels have accused me of being everything from a left-wing commie nutbag to a radical tea-party nazi.

I just try to take the angle that seems most pragmatic. That usually means that I'm socially liberal and fiscally conservative.
 
I am pretty far to the left compared to USA moderates, In Norway I would probably be considered a moderate. In Soviet era, I would have been sent to the gulag for being a land holder and part of the middle class.

Also, I'm not a pure lefty. I believe in gun ownership, the death penalty (mostly) and fiscal responsibility (actual fiscal responsibility, not moving public money to private sectors 'fiscal' responsibility).
