Your 7800GT OC and 3Dmark05 scores, temps, etc

I like to see what other people can get. I'll start...

I have an Evga 7800GT running at 505/1250 with a 7705. Stock cooling idles at 45C.
System in sig.

i got a 8,039 with my setup at 500core/1200mem.

Well, before I had SLI I got 8374 @ 510/1197 36*C idle and 45*C load (ACS Silencer Rev.2)

Now I have SLI and score 12130. SLI really shoots your temps through the roof! GPU1 (GT CO) with the stock heatsink in the top slot idles around 45-50*C and the bottom card with the ACS Silencer now idles around 40*C. Under load the top card gets as high as 70*C while playing COD2! Not good.

3 DIMMs will only run single channel; try taking the extra one out (or adding one more) and you should score higher. Also, make sure the memory is set to DDR400 in your BIOS, not 333.

That should improve your score, but dont expect miracles from dual channel.

Yeah, i thought it only gave 3-5% performance though... Anyways I hit 7707 with 502/1200, weird huh?

I dont understand how 3dmark works. It always seems I score the highest on my very first run. If I run 3dmark at the same clock speed as the run before, I always seem to get lower scores. That's even after a reboot.

Ok I changed ram speed from auto to ddr400 and changed latency from auto to 2.5. Think it will help?

what settings you running in at?ie:high performance,no aa stuff like that?you should be in low 8000s with those clocks

Hey matt how did you (DFI LanParty UT NF4 Ultra-D (modded to SLI) 7/04/05 BIOS) mod that to sli? Thats interetsing...

I use free edition so whatever is standerd.

image setting=quality
aa/af= app control
transparent aa=off

i mean in your display propertys,performance and quality settings. your vid cards proberly set to quality not high performance

evreybody runs at high performance, if they tell you not, then their score will be lower than average or they are just flat-out liars.

try 82.12 beta Forceware.

Those drivers will definately plunge you into the 8k range
