<< this many be a dumb question, but...i saw my 3dmark score..it was like 6200 on my athlon xp 1700 with a geforce 3 ti 200, but it also said tyhat my fsb was 66....isnt it supposed to be 133?? ith my mobo or whaterver >>

🙂 ...and?

<< oh yeah i forgot to mention that i have an ecs k7s5a mobo >>

That's what I was waiting for. 🙂

Its just something with taht mobo, I know a lot of people (even myself), who has the k7s5a and they are all reported as a 66MHz FSB. Don't let it bother you, it's just a weird problem.

Average score of 3286 after 10 run loop at 1024 x 768 x 32. I think my card is crippling that score. Can't push the RAM clock any higher though as everything freezes up at 193 MHz

My specs.
AMD 1.4 GHz Palomino
ECS K7S5A Motherboard
512 MB 266-DDR RAM
Geforce 2 MX (clocked at 175 core/ 192 RAM)
30 GB Maxtor HD
60 GB Maxtor ATA-133 HD
Soundblaster Live
450 W Enermax PS
Swiftech copper HSF

High Score of 7585
Only accomplished this once when i forgot to turn the heater back on in the house one afternoon.

Athlon 1.4 oc'd to 1564
MSI G3 Ti200 220/520
512 MB Crucial Pc2100
MS XP Pro

Yes, FSB should be 133, that is so weird. Check the jumpers on your K7S5A, make sure they're configured for 133MHz fsb.

<< Athlon XP 1600+ now @ 1.47ghz
GA-7VXTE
768mb Crucial DDR
Hercules Ti200

7276 3Dmarks @ 220/475 🙂

(Only problem is my mobo won't remember the overclock past one boot - Any suggestions out of interest?)

Check the Gigabyte forum on www.amdmb.com, they have a bunch of 7VTXE users out there. I think the bug with this board is that you can't change voltage and FSB in BIOS at the same time. Up the voltage first, reboot, then up the FSB, reboot, and it should remember your settings.
