I don't see a problem with that. I personally have a problem when they boss me around (i.e. they act like they know everything about "life", etc), though.

I think thats to big of a difference if you are like, maybe 2 and she is 3. You're just starting to get some good wheels on you and are able to run around the house while she's already curious about learning and trying to read the sunday comics. In that case I don't think you have too much in common and your age difference is probably too great.
