Young Earth Creationism....Fail

How people believe that our earth is 6,000 years old is beyond me. The fact that these beliefs are still around today just absolutely baffles me.

I recently got into a debate with a couple of these ignoramuses.

All that talk and yet not a shred of evidence for a "young earth". Will wonders never cease...

Very convenient to say "Fossilized hemoglobin? GOD DID IT!" Instead of doing what scientists do best and try to actually figure out how it lasted so long that we were able to find it in the fossil record at all.

"Don't worship someone because they wear a white coat and own a microscope."

The irony is killing me. Seriously, I've been coughing for more than a minute now.

I love how Walter posts a lot of verbage and says nothing of substance. He just posts the same vague arguments with no citing of proof. "Lots of scientists dispute...", "scientists disagree..."' "facts say you are wrong...". Its all bullshit.

On a related note: I hope to see you this Tuesday at the Virgin Sacrifice to Darwin. The last one was awesome and I could literally feel the Science flowing through me!

I don't think anyone here got the joke. The irony was intentional.

But for all you know everything in existence sprang into being exactly six thousand years ago, all that big bang stuff is just an illusion. Everything could have been placed just so in order for stuff to appear to be a gazillion years old. Likewise, maybe all my memories were implanted five minutes ago, and I am really a lab rat hooked into a matrix somewhere.

And maybe I keep a fairy in my back yard that only I know about, and no one else can see or communicate with.

I don't understand why we even give credence to "young earth people" Its a contest of people with FACTS vs those with a magic book.
