1997 Maxima SE, 5 speed. 77k, fully loaded (literally), black leather. The car is immaculate (save the normal bit of paint here and there). Two owner car and unlike most used cars a person buys, this one actually came with all maintenance records. Literally every oil change - done like clock work at 3k, is documented. I paid $6k for it 🙂 KBB and edmunds say it's worth about $7k, and local prices on cars back that up.

It's dark red and looks like agintrate's car (at the top) over at the Nissan site, except that it's got the same wheels as my 00 maxima.

So does the sentra go in cold storage for 15 years until the little Skoorb on the way hits driving age?
 
Sentra goes up for sale this week. It's sad because it runs so well, though I can't say I'll terribly miss driving an old econobox at highspeeds on the highway, as it squeaks along 🙂
 
Dude that is a great deal...

I've been wanting to get a Maxima for a daily driver. I want to make my 240 into a full-out race car but not with it being my daily driver....

yeah maxima paint sucks! I'm not sure they're actually the exact same wheels as my 5th gen - possibly a touch different in subtle ways, but at the quick glance I did with the cars side by side they sure look the same!
