Oy, I posted this over at overweightbillfold too, but thought I'd post here too to try and get some answers. Now, I've been looking long and hard at this apex tv deal, and I'm really confused. Here's why:

1) The item # is APX SP271- it's not listed on the CC website or the Apex website, so I can't even find it. The apex website lists the closest model number they make as APX AT2702.
2) I visited both stores in my area today to try and buy it first and price adjust later, but they didn't have it in stock. The csr said they don't even carry apex stereo tv's (only mono), as is indicative with them not being listed on the website.
3) The BF list says it regularly sells for 199.99, and the only Apex 27" selling for 199.99 is the mono one, which would contradict the BF listing. I know that if CC carried a stereo version, they would regularly sell them for $10-15 more. I know this because one of my friends bought a 24" apex and, cheap as he is, opted for mono because he didn't want to spend an extra $10.

So, from what I've gathered, this tv either doesn't exist or its listed wrong on the bf list. If someone could shed some light on this, I'd appreciate it because I really want to get in on this deal!

EDIT: Answers posted several posts down, thanks to vtqanh!

Hey, sorry to bother about the Apex 27" TV again, but I searched on the site for "APX SP271" and couldn't find it. The only one I could find was an "APX AT2702", seen Here. Can anyone confirm if this is the tv that's going to be on sale, and if not, provide a link to the correct one? thanks!
bump for a another shot at getting my question answered :)
I know that you are busy and I think its cool that you have answered so many questions. Please give more info on theAPEX 27" TV if available. If I am going to drive 1.5 hours 1 way to stand in line for a TV, I want to know its worth my 150.00 because I have a Wallyworld down the street and they have a 150.00 tv there too. Thanks.

Do you think that you will know the prices before the 29th? It's ok if you won't but I'm just wondering. Thanks for the information you have given us so far.

I don't know if that's a mistake in the Apex 27" tv listing,

but I checked out the Apex 24" and 27" at CC today and the 24" looked much better imho.

It's selling for $150 right now.

ANY more details about this!? Like how much is it going to cost...

The $50 rebate is already active so that really doesn't tell us anything new.

not really since this is a 14" proview 458. there is a 558 and 758 (15" and 17") with $50 off each. the 15" is $399, so i would estimate that the 14" will be $249/$199 before MIR. sorry, but this is all i have on the monitor so far.

Alright, just got back from work . Too many questions to answer. I will try the best, if i miss one, remind me

ChinamanatNCSU, redfox
As i figured, this model is CC exclusive, you will not find it on Apex website or CC website. The model is indeed APX SP271. It's stereo, that's all i know! (it says right on the box!!!, however, it said nothing else about inputs or anything). The brand/model for CC system is also APX SP271. I don't know why the csr at the two stores you visited told you that they did not have that. They were not properly trained or somehow!!!, or properly they were told not to put out any information on that one. We did not have this until last week, this is for Black Friday only. I dont know if we will still carry this after Black Friday. Again, i repeat, they do have them in stock, as of now, every single CC should have them already
rockyct Read the first page, please, about half way down, i already posted the price
MrCodeDude yes, you can find out. Go to Circuitcity.com Choose your favorite pickup locations, you can add up to three. When you search for an item, it will tell you which store has it in stock. If you want more details. Give me the store numbers (just do a search for zip code, store numbers will appear), and the items you are interested in. I will tell you how many that store has in stock.
JJ970 It a Sherwood receiver like delltrinitron said, not worth buying in my opinion, cheap quality. Remember that the sound is very important!!!, when you close your eyes, you can't see the pictures, but you will still hear the sound. You can go for cheap TVs, but don't go for cheap receiver!!!
to all of you who were asking about the laptop The model number is TOS 1115S103. Go to Toshiba.com and check out the configuration. I think it's pretty hot for the price. Celeron 1.5, 256 MB, 20 GB, 16 MB ATI, 14.1 XGA, DVD ROM. This one will go out fast, very fast!!! And you may or may not succeed trying to buy one now and readjust the price later. Because in my store, for ex., we are not selling any of this until Black Friday (we "hide" it from inventory, so the associates will just tell the customer we did not get them!!!). we do not want honest customers who spend the time to line up early and can not get the deals.
