I'll be tired as long as I have to work. Early mornings are killers, I don't care what time you go to bed. Hate getting up when it's dark, it make it even harder.
 
Yes...sold our house. Have to find a new place to live, pack and move in about a month. MIGHT end up putting everything in storage and living in the little (30’) motorhome for a couple of months... :shudder:

I stopped watching Orphan Black after the first season. ...too busy with the plots and characters maybe. I saw a lot of mess developing. ....but I'm not really sure why that would stop me because Tatiana Maslani....Dayum.

Have you watched The Americans? it's the bomb.

Homeland is good for the first ~3 seasons while The Ginger is still around (and especially the 1st season--...Morena Baccarin....dayum again), if you have Showtime or are willing to do the $9/month sub.

The multi character got her awards. Season 3 , maybe. It's worth a look. And, yes, I'd do crazy...die happy.

Yeah, just for shits and giggles, we looked at houses in the area around Memphis, especially in/around Olive Branch, MS. 😱 Near mansions for the same price se’re seeing for a 30 year old dubble-wide...but even that ain’t enuf to get me east of the Rockies...

Did you watch Vikings? It is actually...really freaking well done. The production is top notch. You'd think their budget is 10x what it probably is. Good show, really worth all the seasons.

There is Last Kingdom on Netflix...mostly OK. lower value, but relevant mostly history stuff. Follows the Vikings timeline by about two or three generations after that storyline, IIRC.

Netflix also just picked up Knightfall...a yarn about Knights Templar and the grail and whatnot, during one temple's stay in Paris. It's not bad...kinda low rent, but not bad. It is worth the French Queen, though. Oh my. ....character wise, this is the time period where the French princess becomes the eventual bride of "Phillip the Lame" of England--I think that is his actual name (IIRC, dude was actually pressed in a vice or a box or some shit at the end of his life). He is the same limp prince dude portrayed in Braveheart, son of Longshanks; that french princess was far, far, far better portrayed by the wonderful Sophie Marceau. ...those English dotards aren't in this series, though (first season, anyway), but thoroughly mentioned in convo and actually part of the main plot, vis-a-vis that French harlot of a princess.

Anyway, those are some solid midieval jaunts. ...Oh, did you ever see Pillars of the Earth? It's got Ian McShane being awesome. Either Netflix or Prime has it. Watch that.

Browsing the Cackalackies, Jawja, Missipissi, and even The land of Dee-vorced brothers and sisters...I'm STUNNED at how much house you can get for the money...Shit, $250K will buy a huge house...almost a mansion, while here on the left coast...$250K will barely buy a shack. But here, we don't have to put up with extreme heat and humidity, hurrycanes, tornaders, or any of the myriad of other problems that seem to be endemic to the South. Earthquakes and tsunamis, of course are always a possibility, but they're scarcer than hen's teeth...until they happen.
 
Yeah, I'm tired of life. Like this damn small gov't apt., is sucking my life-force away. I'm sitting at my PC, hour after hour, and like, half the time, I'll just sort of doze off. Even when I "sleep", I don't really get much rest, it seems. A lot of caffeine too, and some sugar, probably not good for me.

But this this isn't about me. 🙂

Sis and bro in law went from a 2500sqft/$500K house above White Plains NY to a 3Ksqft/$250K house in WVa and she quite her $100K job. The 2x2 townhouse that I just bought was $98.5K/1100sqft. That extra saved will pay for a lot of AC.
