Our sinuses aren't usually exposed in such a way, though, which would be extremely dangerous. I agree though, I "assume" it's fine the way it is, so long as the necessary bits are patched up.

I'm assuming they patched up the sinus cavities so they would still be sealed? And that those multitude of various open cavities and holes are just other areas, like where muscle and ligaments once were located?

I had the volume off. Did they say what the reason was for the removal of the entire eye region, and not just the eyeball? Was it some kind of locally metastatic cancer involving the eye and everything around it?

It's not an interrogation, but he does say it was cancer. He can't go swimming or anything, he'll drown. The camera man was talking about watching the guy's vocal cords moving when he talked. Guy can close his mouth and plug his nose and still breathe just fine. Trippy.
