He's a troll from the US. If he returns, using a proxy server, it'll probably take a little while for us to figure it out. Not that the moderators are the only ones working on it. If that happens, or one of 4 or 5 other particular trolls return, I will personally put their REAL name and location as a custom title, so that anyone searching for information about them can see exactly what type of people they are online.

That seems fair, have at it, I on the other hand am Called Mike, I live in the UK I'm 22 years old and have never, under any name or pseudonym been a member of this forum before.

Out of curiosity what were those people your talking about banned for? (lest I follow them)

The fact that you are implying people are "investigating" me is most amusing to me just a heads up, your wasting your time, is there any way I can verify I am who I say I am so we don't need to waste our time like this? Maybe a photocopy of my drivers licence with the important bits removed?

I was banned once or twice...ok maybe more like a half dozen times. Eventually though the shock therapy worked and I haven't been banned since.

Of course now every time someone uses a microwave nearby me I piss my pants and forget who I am for 30 minutes. Such is the price we pay for forum membership I suppose......

Touche, what did you get banned for out of curiousity, because a lot of people seem to think I have previously been banned, and as such I am questioning whether my posting style is likely to get me banned, and if so how do I avoid it?

There's very good reasons for accessing forums through proxies. Like bittorrent, VCRs, and computers, there's legitimate, and illegitimate uses for the technology.

I know there's legitimate reasons for proxies, but I can't see the legitimacy in using it to access forums, unless your trying to mask your IP or location.

Exactly. What if someone were from China, or DPRK? A proxy could be useful for communicating with the world.
