I can definetely understand, as everyone else here can - but a few questions about "What Virus Scanner do you use" and "What RAM should I buy" are harmless. Its not too big a deal - and by ignoring him your only making it worse - trust me I know these people. You need to teach them how to find resources on their own so that they aren't coming to you any more. Its the old axiom "Give a man a fish, he eats for one day. Teach a man to fish and he eats for blah blah". You know the adage, and its truth. Just point him to ATOT and a few other online resources and he'll never have to bother you again. And when he does, "Go to AT." Its a simple answer to all his problems.

Regardless, people seriously lack the perception of what MJ can do for them - you would be a lot less stressed out, the entire world would be less stressed if only it were legal. Now go buy a bag.

watch out... you will be th next ribbon

i'm not sure if that's what the OP is encountering, but i find that especially annoying....

Jesus Herbert Walker Christ, you'd think that after the first 11ty billion times I ignore you, you'd get the hint and GO THE FVCK AWAY AND JUMP OFF A CLIFF, FATASS! Man, if only that paintball game had been live fire with M-16's, I wouldn't have to deal with your bullsh!t. I shot you in the balls because you're an annoying piece of sh!t, not because I love you or something. Christ. If you ask me ONE MORE FVCKING TIME what virus scanner I use, or what RAM you should buy for your POS Compaq, I'll wrap it's damned plastic chassis around your face and drop you out of a fvcking 747 from FL350, without a goddamn parachute. Oh, and your Supra (yes, this asshat has a Supra, and he doesn't even have his driver's license yet) and hotass girlfriend are FAR above you, and I'm about || far from fvcking taking possession of both of them in return for not KILLING YOUR ANNOYING ASS.

TONY I DELETED EXPLORER.EXE.............HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Here is a word of advice for you kid, don't let people know you are into/knowledgable about computers. I'm sure that most of this is brought about by your own actions.

I just usually give them feeble nofix advice like "go to mcafee.com" or "go to microsoft.com" and say "there's a help section". Technically, the advice is true...of course it solves nothing since they won't do it. But...who fvcking cares? :D

I know a few guys who are skilled with 4x4's and Airsoft guns. I have no problems giving them computer advice.

That is excellent advice. I don't let people know that I'm into/knowledgable about computers unless I'm prepared to help them. And so far, I'm doing pretty good. Yeah, I've had to fix my girlfriend's friends computers before, but it's worth it ;)

Usually, when I tell people (or they find out), they're surprised.

I have a few people like this too, but they're relatively easy to ignore.

9/10

The worst thing is when family volunteers you.. my mom does it all the time.

Moms friend: Oh we can't get such and such to work on our computer, it's so silly.
Mom: Oh I'm sure Ryan can do it

FVCK that.

lol. 10/10 on the rant. I dont have to put up with that too much because most of my friends are just as computer savvy as i am or more so. But my best friend (who also happens to be my roomate) doesnt know jack about them. he is a CS major and is too lazy to figure stuff out for himself. I refuse to touch his computer.
