Is that normal score for quadrant and linpack running Nero with Voodoo? I'm running stock froyo JL5 w/ Voodoo and only getting ~1500 quadrant and ~13.5 linpack. But my phone feels so fast and smooth. It's pretty much perfect right now, and I'm happiest since I bought this phone. Supercurio Vibrant Voodoo kernel basically transforms this phone into Nexus S. T-mobile should just release JL5 because it's about perfect.

No its not normal at all. That was with DoW kernel OC'd to 1.4 and Voodoo5. It was ok for everyday use but battery life was crap.

Tmo needs to release naked Froyo for the Vibrant. Screw JL5.

I'm sorry but DoW is absolute crap. Of course you're going to get crappy battery life with that kernel. It's overclocked and it's based on i9000 kernel instead of Vibrant kernel. Anytime you use a kernal other than Vibrant kernel you're going to get horrible battery life along with other problems. I bet you were losing like 8-10% battery life an hour even on standby.

I've come to love Touchwiz. No way I would give it up for inferior ASOP build. Launcher Pro Plus with Touchwiz is absolute joy to use. JL5 is the best and most stable release yet. You can't do better than JL5 /w Voodoo on the Vibrant ATM. Best combination of battery life and performance. Only thing I added was the blue segmented battery indicator which is a must on any rom.
