Jim Beam is absolutely horrid. Maybe it was not fair since this happened when I was new to scotch and tried Cragganmore (12 yo single malt) first then Jim Beam (2yo~).

Jim Beam IS terrible though. I do like Jack Daniels as it's quiet sweet yet potent. Jim Beam is just shit.

so i just had a shot of Maker's Mark. it's much better than Jim Beam, but it isnt all that as posters in this thread say.

I put it on par with Jack Daniels.

I guess it's good for it's price? It's really nothing special btw. If you have nothing better to drink and can't afford single malt, then this would be fine. But I think that's about it.
