For most places they don't count for shit. I'm just using it as a stepping stone to transfer in as a Junior at a state school.
Technically it could help me though if I decided to not finish school.

As I have come to realize from people here on ATOT, Associate Degrees are printed on rolls and stored in the bathrooms for alternate use...
BUT, it was all my voc-rehab program would pay for, so I'll gladly take what I could get.

Actually, if you have prior service you skip the first 2 years of ROTC and just do the last 2. The Cadre there will love me though as a Active Duty Leader with 2 deployments + squad leader time. I'm gonna bust some heads on day one.

Why would you get an A.S. for a History degree? Where I am the science requirements are much more for an A.S. compared to an Associate of Arts.

You still have to play the game, regardless of your background, unfortunately. However, the game is far less intimidating.
Congrats and good luck with your future schooling. I bet you can't wait for all the BS once you finish ROTC, butter-bar-to-be.![]()
