What exactly is considered a shake?
is it one complete up-down or left-right movement?
Is a tap considered a shake?
Is there a time frame that all of this has to be done in assuming there is not a line?
If you shake your pants a bit, or bounce a little, deso that count?

Is there something wrong with playing with salt or pepper?

If you have skills, you can slightly loosen the cap while you shake the salt, and then pass it to your buddy.

considering the edit, let me repost...

Shaking to clean up the mess is acceptable, shaking to make a mess is playing. Whoever made up that rule must have had a short urinary tract because it takes me 3-4 shakes to not spot.

TMI??

A shake is whatever is required to get that last stubborn drip off before you zip up.

Sometimes when I'm taking a really nice piss, I shudder a couple times because it feels so good. Anyone else get this?

Who cares? If you want to shake it eleventy billion times or even play with it, I don't care so long as you don't expect me to watch or help.

There is no bright-line rule. If you take two shakes but that's what it needs, it might not be playing with it. You still can't go too far, though.

On the other hand, even one shake can be playing with it, if other factors are present.

It's really a totality of the circumstances test.

This assumes there is shame in playing with it.

There is not.

At any rate, I shake it a bit, then milk it a bit to get the last drops out. Yellow underwear is nasty.
