You people from CO, are we coloradoans or coloradans?

My friends and I got in a discussion about what to call people from Colorado and we were pretty much split down the middle in what we think. Half of us think we're 'Coloradoans (pronounced Colorado-ans)' and the other half think we're 'Coloradans'. I prefer the latter myself, as it just sounds right. Coloradoans has an extra syllable and sounds awkward. What do you think?
